WCAG Accessibility 2: Fixing WordPress Accessibility Issues (Elementor & Jupiter X)
WCAG Accessibility 2: Fixing WordPress Accessibility Issues (Elementor & Jupiter X) Following the initial WordPress accessibility audit of the Rainbows Ireland website, the next step was to work through the issues highlighted by WAVE and Google Lighthouse and determine which problems were real, which were theme-related, and which were being introduced by third-party plugins. This stage of the project showed very quickly that accessibility fixes are rarely about changing one heading colour and moving on. In practice, the real issue may sit elsewhere in the DOM, inside a hidden popup, inside a cookie banner, or inside theme-generated navigation markup.
